The Bak Fu (White Tiger) style is a mixed martial art that combines aspects of multiple styles giving students multiple techniques to apply in different situations. While the curriculum draws on all of the training and experience of Grandmaster Mayberry, the style is an incorporation of Karate/Kobudo, internal Kung Fu, external Kung Fu, and Philippino Kali Escrima Arnis. From them different types of martial arts, the following styles are dominant in the training: Okinawan Kenpo, Okinawan Kobudo, Tae Kwon Do, Choy Lay Fut, Wing Chun, Hsing-I, and Dekiti Tirsia Siradas Kali.
The following sections outline the basic, intermediate and advanced techniques and forms (both empty hand and weapons) covered over the progression of the belt ranks.
The exact order of the forms can vary by student. See the Belts page for more information.
Note that many forms have associated exercises and applications which are not enumerated here.
